How Commuter Benefits Work

Commuter Benefits allow employees like you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for your commute to work.

How it Works

Commuter benefits help you pay for your commute to and from work using pre-tax dollars, which saves you money on your taxes each year. You can use commuter benefits for transit and qualified paid parking.

  • Funds are withdrawn from your paycheck to fund your commuter benefits account before taxes are deducted.
  • Suspend or cancel contributions to your account at any time. There’s no “use it or lose it” as long as you’re enrolled in the program and are an active employee.

The monthly pre-tax limits are reviewed each year by the IRS. For the latest information on pre-tax limits, visit the savings page.

Why enroll in commuter benefits?

If you are already paying for your commute...there's no reason NOT to sign up.

  • Keep more money in your pocket
  • Get passes delivered straight to your door
  • Pay parking automatically with direct pay
  • Enroll online
  • Sign up, change, suspend or cancel at any time
